Histories of UM Schools, Departments, and Programs
The University's schools, departments, and programs have not remained static since they were established. Names have changed, missions have evolved, some have been discontinued and others have merged with existing units. The purpose of this page is to help direct you to brief histories and timelines that may answer your questions about these University units. Please note that these have been taken from already existing online documents created by a variety of University offices or from finding aids describing records from these offices housed in the Bentley Library. Watch this page for further resources as they are developed.
Note: many of the links below lead to web sites outside the Bentley Library's own site.
